Tri Trang seaside is positioned in a good and quiet tiny bay in front of the four star Merlin Seaside Resort in which only long tail boats to and from Freedom Seaside break the silence.
Tri Trang is not a swimming seaside at low tide!
While waiting for large tide one can relax below one of the parasols (26 deck chairs are offered for sun lovers and snorkeling enthusiasts at 80 baht each), get some stress relieving Thai massage at one of the open air massage tents or climb up the stairs to grab some food at Goodview restaurant on the coconut palm fringed hill overlooking the seaside.
When the tide is in you have to swim 60-80 meters to attain the corals that are to be found each in shallow and deep water. The sea is crystal clear and offer you good snorkeling with lots of coral and colorful fish in all sizes. At times tourists on snorkeling trips will maintain you firm for a although.
Tri Trang is quite close to the well-known and 1 of Phuket’s best beaches Freedom Seaside that can only be attain by boat. From what I have heard longtail boat from Tri Trang to Freedom cost only 200-300 baht per person. A significantly less expensive substitute than going from Patong Seaside.
