Reaching out through time from Wat Si Chum temple in Sukhothai Buddha's hand inspires Brendan O'Connell's photographic art. He focuses his lens on the hand of the 18th century sculpture and with Photoshop he creates a mystical illusion where greens invoke peace and bright orange-red evokes the force of spiritualism. For me the hand now appears to be transmitting a spiritual light. Hopefully people who view the photograph will feel and be touched by the light confides O'Connell.
