Early in the 20th century, the advent of electricity changed life in the big cities. People stayed up after dark, partying, gambling, drinking and consorting with prostitutes. This became known as the Sporting Life. Eddie Harris, a nerdy computer tech is sent to Bangkok to finish the installation of a new computer system in the US Embassy. Eddie is thrust into a world he never imagined where massage parlors, gogo bars, prostitutes and drunken tourists rule the night. Who can he trust in a land where nothing is as it seems and the normal rules don’t apply? Are good and evil absolutes? Is the true measure of a man the size of his bank account or as the Thai’s believe, the size of his heart?
