Hainan, May 4(ANI): Jubilant Chinese crowds cheered as the Olympic torch started its journey through mainland China on May 4. The torch arrived in China's tropical southern island of Hainan late on May 3 from the former Portuguese colony Macau, amid tight security. The starting point for the relay on Sunday was a small man-made island just off the beach resort of Sanya. The torch will continue through the Chinese provinces, before being carried into the Olympic Games Opening ceremony on August 8.
